Coachella 2009 Date Change Announced

For those of you who've already booked your flights: better call the airlines. The 2009 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has been pushed up to April 17-19, two weeks sooner than was previously scheduled. It will still take place in Indio, California at Empire Polo Field, with a musical line-up to be confirmed at a later date.
Coachella, a three-day annual haven for alt-music lovers, has become one of the most highly anticipated music festivals since its debut in 1999. Last year's performers included Vampire Weekend, Death Cab for Cutie, MGMT, and Cold War Kids.
